Ways of Seeing by Helena Tiainen is created with my art titled Perspectives aka Coping in Challenging Times, which is created with Figments of Imagination - The Beast, an original ink and pencil drawing on paper. Much in the style of what I have done with The Joy of Design Series of original acrylic paintings by combining them digitally to create Mandala Puzzles and more, I have implemented this idea into working with my original drawings as well. I like to work manually and digitally, so, for me this is a natural evolution. These drawings have a beauty of their own and from a distance may appear as nothing but abstract patterns, but they are created with much more than decorative purposes in mind, often reflecting my feelings about life in the contemporary times.
