This painting is based on the Navarro River Redwoods State Park in California. I used to spend quite a bit of my off time at the Paul Dimmick Wayside Campground in the beautiful Mendocino County. This park has now been closed for camping for several years, which is a shame. I and so many others hope that the State of California will reopen this beautiful place for all to enjoy. I have so very many fond memories linked to this gorgeous place!
