Description
Ceilings and Floors 1 by Helena Tiainen is both a figurative abstraction and social commentary. Some say that the Fool is the highest card in the deck and I keep on coming back to the perception that the world is a stage and we all play roles here. None of us see the whole bigger picture and there are both good and bad actors in this world. But it all boils down to our perspectives. We can see things as black and white or in shades of gray. We can judge according to our values. But in the end, maybe the Fool is just another name for the Sage. It takes courage to recognize how little we really know and how much of this knowledge might be a manufactured illusion and even though we might feel mighty, we are all tiny in the bigger picture. But at the same time we are also an inseparable part of the bigger picture, So, sincerely, may all of us do the very best that we can in this world, regardless of our individual circumstances. No matter how fortunate or unfortunate we feel, we can choose what we focus on, whether unity or separation. May all of us choose our directions with love and wisdom.
