Duality always has its dark and light, black and white, night and day, yin and yan, up and down and so many more concepts that are considered opposites. Yet, one concept as we know it does not exist without the other and in reality life is full of shades of gray. If we want to change the world, maybe we need to start by understanding that there is nothing and nobody that is totally good or totally bad and that these concepts are relative based on who is giving them value. Just like one man's floor is another man's ceiling also one man's good can be another man's bad. In order to live in peace we need to gain perspective into the views of another and not try to force others to adobt our values and life styles. This applies to individuals, groups and nations. There is no one way to live and there are many ways to co-exist peacefully. To start with, let us have some respect toward those who see things differently than we do and let us not impose our ideas on them like we would not have them impose their ideas on us. After all, we are all visitors here and none of us really know what is best for another.
