One After Another 1 by Helena Tiainen is a black and white ink drawing that reflects on human experiences in life in a rather abstract fashion. The basic message is that we all share similar experiences of joy and pain and love and loss on planet earth. We can choose to support each other in these experiences or we can choose to isolate. But nobody here is alone and nobody is a seemingly separate island in this world even when they think they are all alone.

I sometimes create works that can be hung in more than one direction and this is one of these works.
