This drawing is inspired by a painting by Matisse. I have altered the original to a significant degree to make this art my own. I gave this woman hands and emphasized certain features in the original painting, letting my imagination take me to places that might have only been hinted in the source work. This art is an Art On A Card series work and the measurements of the size are approximate. There is only one original art card and the rest are reproductions. This would make a very special gift for someone in your life, as would any of the other cards in this series of original art. All copyrights belong to Helena Tiainen.
