Description
I was originally thinking about naming this painting Reaching For The Stars, but after further consideration, I decided to name this work Rising Above. This painting is about hope and endurance and is a figurative abstraction with organic and geometric elements. There are also surreal aspects to this piece, in particular in the night sky. Color plays a major role in this work, as it often does in my paintings. All rights to this art belong globally to Helena Tiainen. No watermarks will ever show on any actual items.

... lol! my finger slipped, my message incomplete {& I can't delete?}; so again: An elegant flow of line & colour ... my eye on a journey that is not on a linear path, but involves curves of diversion, that take me to many places: to healing greens, to soothing pinks & mauves; following the light of the sun but which also brings with it the shadows of night. So many interpretations here, each time the eye falls on this painting, another thought comes to mind Which is what makes it a treasure, Helena. It is rich with symbolism. You are very talented, & your portfolio is a joy to do a "walkabout" in :))
