Digital Art - Digitally Collaged Scans Of Original Acrylic Paintings Flipped
Description
These are the scans of the first 40 original handpainted acrylics in The Joy of Design Series of paintings horizontally and vertically flipped, which puts them all in yet another position creating other associations in the mind of anyone who views this work. All of these paintings can be displayed in any direction individually and in groupings, including all diagonal directions. The purpose of this series is to suggest alternative ways of seeing and being. The main point being that there is no one way, but many ways in life in general. And yes, things do look different from different perspectives. The works in this series are about stretching limits and widening horizons and of course, these works are intended to be challenging and also fun. I expect them to mirror to you the contents of your own mind in the moment. I constantly keep on seeing different things in these works myself, which never seizes to amaze me. So, what kind of order does your mind make out of these wild abstractions? The mind always seeks to comprehend what it sees. It will find resemblance with something familiar in nearly anything, and whether others see what you observe in a similar way is always a process of discovery. Even though we as humans share seemingly similar experiences, our interpretations of what we perceive do vary widely. There is no one way and perceptions are in the eye of the beholder. Go ahead and have fun. Let your mind and eye wander and discover what you see.
