The Joy of Design LX by Helena Tiainen is painting number 60 in the ongoing The Joy of Design series of small square paintings that are designed to hang in any of the eight directions. This painting is inspired by the film, "My Octopus Teacher", which clearly influenced me subconsciously to a degree that an octopus like form showed up in my painting. I was not consciously trying to paint an octopus, but one showed up in this abstraction.
