This art, The Joy of Design Mandala Series Puzzle 7 Arrangement 1 by Helena Tiainen, is digitally collaged with scans of some of the paintings in The Joy of Design series of original acrylic paintings. There are four panels of The Joy of Design XXXI, eight panels each of The Joy of Design XXXVII and The Joy of Design XXXIX and XLIII. And twelve panels each of The Joy of Design XL and XLI and XLII. Altogether 64 panels. These panels have been flipped and rotated to different directions to create this piece but the colors are the original colors of the individual paintings in this work. The Joy of Design series of paintings are handpainted with joy and love of design, as the name implies. There are currently 43 original acrylic paintings in this series and hundreds of digital works created with full or partial scans of these works.
