This compilation, The Joy of Design XLI Arrangement 1 is created with The Joy of Design XLI scans that have been flipped. I do these types of arrangements with the works in The Joy of Design series and also some other original paintings and drawings I create. I am fascinated by how one item can be multiplied and used to create different totalities and effects. This is symbolic of an individual and a group in life, whether flora or fauna or something microscopic, such as cells. Also, I am really into patterns, as you can likely tell by looking at my art.
