Gifted by Nature by Helena Tiainen is a contemplation on nature's bounty, this time in the form of two peaches. This work is also a contemplation on the importance of water. Without water there is no life as we know it, and without clean water all life will suffer and no animal life on this planet will survive. Earth gives us so many delicious riches that most of the time we take for granted. These simple pleasures in life are treasures that I truly appreciate and I feel a need to express this appreciation in my art.
